I read a lot of poems. "Leo muchas poemas" o "Leo muy poemas?"
More beer please! "Mas cerveza, por favor" o "Muchas cerveza, por favor?"

muy = very
mas = more
mucho = much/a lot/many

I agree with James B! Therefore, yes, "leo muchos poemas", "más cerveza, por favor" and "leo más que ella".

Remember that MÁS has accent!!!!
