I have seen these two ways of expressing : hacer prácticas de trabajo

My question is : can I mean by -training -that you are learning how to work in a real work place , without being paid and probably while you have not graduated yet? ( some of these " prácticas " are part of the studies programme)

Or is it better to say be on work experience?

You can say you are doing "work experience" or you could say "interning".

I am interning at Google.

I am gaining work experience at Google.
