Ma sa che.... Ciao a tutti! Cosa vuol dire esattamente questa frase? Credo sia un'espressione idiomatica, vero? (E' regionale?) Qual è l'espressione equivalente in inglese? Esiste? Ho un sacco di domande perché voglio sapere cosa significa!!! Comunque ecco la frase originale: "Mi sa che ti voglio bene." I guess that I love you?? Non sono sicuro.... E perché non si usa il congiuntivo qua? Sono confuso!!!! Grazie in anticipo! :)

My impression is that it isn't as strong as 'I love you' ( 'ti amo' ). You can 'volere bene a' all sorts of people - friends as well as lovers. 'Ti voglio bene' is one of my favourite phrase in Italian, because it's sweet, and it doesn't quite translate into English. Do you think it maybe means 'I'm really fond of you'?

il congiuntivo è una brutta bestia, anch'io non ho ancora capito bene quando usarlo! sopratutto per il parlato. Cerca di pensare se è un'azione certa o incerta. Ma con ''mi sa che '' direi che non si usa proprio.<< Mi sa che con ''mi sa che '' il congiuntivo non si usa !>>

hi! we use the sentence "mi sa che..." when we have some certainty about what we are going to say, stronger than doubt. for example the sentence "mi sa che ti voglio bene", that you can translate into "I think I love you", expresses that I'm not really sure about my feelings but something make me say I'm in love with you. hope I was clear! bye
