In German television text, program schedule, what is AD?
If I look on text tv, teletext, or how you would call it, to look what programs there are on ZDF I see these letters:

UT= Under Titelung für Tauben
HD = High Definition
and also:
AD

The latter seems to be new. What could it mean?

For example today page 302, Der Landarzt Verständigungsprobleme. 13.10 HD UT AD.

Answer

UT = UnterTitel  (I don't think it includes "für Taube")
AD (probably) = Audio Description = für Leute mit Sehbehinderung (for people with visual impairment). You have to switch the audio channel to use it.
