In pinyin, x sounds like the first sound of shine.
In pinyin, x is pronounced like "sh" as in shine.
In pinyin, x is pronounced as "sh" in shine.

This does not mean your other alternatives are all wrong, however, these are only 2 ways I believe it would sound natural to use. :)
