I could recommend you a good Russian tank but speaking about movies, I think there are no any good Russian movie, especially among modern ones. =) They are simply worse than French, British, American, Chinese or German ones. The Russians either cannot shoot a good movie or do not have enough money to shoot something good. A good Russian movie is just like a good Martian wine – both do not exist! =)

The most of the best Russian movies were made before 1980. After that qualities of them became worse greatly. You need to know it before choosing. I'm absolutely agree with Leonid and Mikhail Pushkov and I can add a few one.
