where are we headed and where are we heading..what's the differences?
Both sentences are in present but I think so first sentence is in passive..am I right?can someone explain me in detail their differences and usage also like if I say to my friend where are we heading or where are we headed..are they both right?

This is a very interesting question.

First, both are fine and are probably used with about the same frequency.

Second, and this is the tricky part for me, I think both are passive. It seems like the active version is We head where? But that doesn't quite sound as good as either of the others.
