Dear admission, I have a question concerning language certificates. I have taken the IELTS exam three times, and have been working to improve my writing skills. The latest result was a score of 6.5 overall with a listening score of 6.5, reading score of 6.5, writing score of 6.5 and speaking score of 5.5. I am delighted that writing has improved compared to my last attempt. To my surprise, however, I did not score above a 6.0 on the speaking part. In the other two exams, my speaking score was 6.0 both times. I am wondering whether my English ability has met the demand of my offer of 6.5 (6.0). I hope these corrections helped, thought in the future I suggest placing longer pieces of writing like letters in the "Notebook" section under the community drop-down menu. The Notebook forum gives us more tools to correct longer pieces of writing that also help you more clearly see where we have made corrections. Hope this helps :)
