if You like adventure books, I can recomend the set of Tomek Wilmowski's adventures, written by Alfred Szklarski. All titles You can find under: http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomek_Wilmowski.

I understand you because I learn English and I try to read English book. It is very important and in my opinion it's a good way to learning new words:) I recommend blogs( you can choose the subject matter and you have contact with 'real ' language. For example:
