Some songs: "Tarde Vazia", "Eu Quero Sempre Mais", "Envelheço na Cidade" 2) CAPITAL INICIAL Some songs: "Música Urbana", "Primeiros Erros", "Natasha" 3) RITA LEE Some songs: "Ovelha Negra", "Erva Venenosa", "Doce Vampiro" 4) CIDADE NEGRA Some songs: "A Estrada", "Onde Você Mora?", "Girassol" There are a lot of other bands, like "SKANK", "LEGIÃO URBANA", "ENGENHEIROS DO HAVAÍ", "BIQUINI CAVADÃO", "OS PARALAMAS DO SUCESSO" and singers like "MARISA MONTE", "RAUL SEIXAS", "CAZUZA". I hope this list can be useful.

I recommend Bossa Nova, Romantic Musics or MPB because they sing in standard Brazilian Portuguese and easy to understand. other rhytms use regional portuguese, slang or They could speak portuguese wrong . maybe, can be difficult understand.

Hi Julia. I guess you will like Engenheiros do Hawaii, Los Hermanos, Acusticos e Valvulados, Cascaveletes, TNT, Charles Masters, Cachorro Grande. There are too many good rock bands here. My state has the best ones. It's called Rock Gaúcho, but other brazilians maybe will disagree. :) good look on your studies. I hope you like these bands.
