Topic sentence for descriptive writing? Hello, I have an descriptive essay assignment on any place, object or person from your daily life. (only a paragraph). My teacher said that the most important part of the essay is the topic sentence. He also said that we cannot use the word "I" in the essay. For example, someone wants to write about Maldives. It would start with "Maldives is a amazing place for a holiday. This private, secluded beach is an ideal place to spend a relaxing and peaceful vacation......" I am planning on writing about The bedroom. Im not sure if its a good idea or not so what do you guys think? Should I go ahead and write about the bedroom? Also, if yes, what is a good topic sentence for the bedroom?
