I want to know the difference between takeaway food and delivery food
1)Eat out or send out for a takeaway?
2)Go out or call out for a takeaway?
3)Have dinner out or order in?
4)Dine out or order a takeout?
5)Do you want to eat out or get something delivered?
6)Feel like eating out or get something ordered in?
7)Should I eat out or take out?
8)Should I eat it out or take it out?
9)Should I eat out or eat in takeaway?
Are all those sentences correct?
I think a takeout(or takeaway) the one which you visit stores and buy. But it is almost similar to a delivery food because I feel like a takeout could just be considered the prepared food. Even these days Macdonald does do delivery service for a takeout food such as hamburger, French fries, and chicken and all.
Could it be too weird If I use the word "a takeout food" for a delivery food?
Please help me!
Thanks!^^

Well, at least here in the US, we use these words:
-Delivery: You call the restaurant and order. They cook your food and deliver it to you.
-Takeout or Carry out: ou call the restaurant and order. They tell you at what time the food will be ready. You go and pick up the food at that time and take it home.
-To Go: You are at the restaurant and oder your food. When it is ready, you take it "to go". Another use is if you are at a restaurant and cannot finish what you've ordered. You can have the leftovers wrapped and take them "to go".
