Can anyone tell me what does the sentence from my grammar textbook mean, please?
"No se usa un, una, unos, unas ante el objeto de un verbo cuando nos referimos a al clase de objeto, no a un objeto concreto" ¡Muchas gracias!
Espero que esta norma te pueda ayudar:
El artículo indeterminado no aparece ante sustantivos que forman el objeto directo del verbo tener e indican existencia o no existencia de algo:
Tiene novia.
No tiene amigos.
No tengo reloj.
¿Tienes coche?
Tampoco se emplea el artículo indeterminado ante el objeto directo de los verbos gastar, llevar, vestir:
Gasta barba.
Llega gafas.
Viste traje de noche.

"We do not use "un, una, unos, unas" before the object of a verb when we refere to the class of the object (class of things), but we can use "un, una, unos, unas" when we refere to a specific object"
