All answers posted above were concentrated on the literal translation but it seems to me that it's better to concentrate on meaning in this case. I'm a big fan of football and I've heard such things so many times :) There are two ways to express your thought in Russian: 1. Я играю в футболе хуже тебя [or "хуже, чем ты"], или мы на одном уровне? 2. Ты играешь в футбол лучше меня или также? - I'd prefer to use this one. Both versions are correct and possible. All literal translations in this case (like "Я не играю в футбол также хорошо, как играешь ты, или мы на одном уровне?") would sound artificially and disgusting.

it's ok just usual we do not continue a sentence, only if it has other words =) in the Russian language, we are trying to avoid repetition of words так/так же/такой(ие/ая/ое) же........как я не умею играть ТАК хорошо КАК ты я не делают эту работу ТАК хорошо КАК она это не может быть ТАК интересно КАК об этом говорят

I don't play football as well as you. - Я не играю в футбол также хорошо как ты. Я не играю в футбол настолько хорошо как ты. I do it as much as you - Я занимаюсь также много как (и) ты.

Я не играю в футбол настолько же хорошо как ты играешь. Я не играю в футбол так хорошо как ты.

1. Я играю в футбол не хуже тебя. <--- this phrase could say a person a bit offended by the opposite idea. 2. Я играю в футбол так же хорошо, как и ты. - that's what you mean. Note the space between так and же. That's because 'так' is to be understnad literally "as", and it is paired with хорошо, to mean "exactly as well". 3. Также как и ты, я играю в футбол. Я играю в футбол! Также как и ты. ---- here it is a conjuction! ('as well' works this way in English too). It means, I play football. You play football too as I know. Я играю в футбол, как и ты. Как и ты, я играю в футбол. ----- the same, with также omitted:) 4. Я играю в футбол, так же, как и ты. - again space. This may mean "as well', or 'in the same manner/method', or 'following the same rules' etc. Again, the literal meaning of 'tak' that's why space. In speech 3 and 4 sound the same!! And idstinguished by the intonation only.
