Post Facebook: Olympics Hi, I was commenting on a post about Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics and I was replying to a woman who said Brazil was a bad pick. Can you tell me my errors? "I agree with you in some respects, but Brazil wasn't exactly a bad pick at that time. Today it is. The reason why we are nowhere near ready to host this olympics isn't only lack of money but especially our politicians' blatant disregard for absolutely everthing they can't cash in on. When Brazil was picked , its economy was booming. But the Olympics were interesting as long as they were a fruiful way of pocketing some ilicit money. We have a lot of problems here currently: Zika(as you said), a president at risk of being impeached anytime soon, an economy that is coming apart at the seams, etc. I am disgusted at the thought of Brazil hosting an olympics at the present time. It is outrageous. And, of course, the mounting debt will be passed on to the people. We should be focusing on get our country back on track." Thank you,
