That's how I corrected it: This feature has stopped working after pushing the last UI updates. All answers that had been selected before the UI update are highlighted now. Could you check my correction and what's wrong with it?

Looks good to me... but "after pushing the last UI updates" looks like tech-speak so it is hard to know how to check it. Do you mean "after the last UI updates were pushed"?
