Can you help me to explain the following sentence? I'm Vietnam student and I'm learning English. To supplement my income, sometime I translate some books from English into Vietnamese. Now I'm translating a book about women and how to get them for a male customer (sorry because this topic can offend someone). But the book has a confusing text: "All the unnatural ideas about how males ought to pursue females that we learn through our socialization are taken for granted, assumed to be true, reinforced, and passed on through conventional dating advice. Mainstream advice will in general simply facilitate and further traditional social conditioning, since that is what everyone is used to and what makes sense in their minds. There are also hidden agendas within some advice, such as selling unnecessary products." the paragraph is talking about Conventional Advice on dating and it's useless. I don't understand the sentence " since that is what ...their minds", because i don't know what is "that", "what" and "makes sense"? Can you explain them?
