What is this meaning in real conversation. "That would be taken a moment to..." Would someone help me? I would appreciate it. I was watching this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKLvhFn48e0&t=31s And, I hear; “That would be taken a moment to discuss strategy before your upcoming term.” (0:50) Is this line euphemistically meaning that “I would like to discuss your strategy briefly now” ? If I was right, is it same as “That would take a moment to discuss...” ? And, Is there some difference in nuance? And, one more. Why it was not “strategies”, or “a strategy”, or “the strategy”? Sorry for silly questions but these are quite difficult for English learners. Thank you for reading my post.

Hi - What he said was, "I thought we could take a moment to discuss strategy before your up-coming term." Hopefully that makes more sense to you. I know it is very difficult to pick out the words when someone is speaking quickly. Good luck!
