I need to talk about tv. I want to include the following ideas;

Unfortunately, there is too much trash/ junk tv programmes.eg. gossip programmes (in which poor journalists and others shout at one another when discusdig about celebrities' lives.)
On the other hand, thrre are educational programmes.so, it is your choice.

I wonder if the words: "junk tv prog., Gossip prog. and "it is your choice ", makes sense here.
