Hello. Change your environment would help. I mean, if you read books or news in your nature language, change it. and begin to read them in the language that you want learn. If there is a word that you can not understand just search it in the dictionary or in the translater. Luck learning!

Talking! For sure this helps. I notice a rapid improvement when I spend more time talking French so I'd say the same for English. Also online radio, movies and TV. Have the subtitles on and a dictionary to hand. Don't forget the remote control so you can pause and check your dictionary or translator. Good luck

Hi! I am studying Korean and I have found that a good way to learn new vocabulary is by watching a lot of Korean television. You should try doing this with television that's in English. Watch shows with English captions on, and anytime you don't understand a word, write it down and look up what it means. I also have placed sticky notes of vocabulary words in Korean all over my house, and you should do the same with English words! Hopefully this helps. :)

And listen to the English speech as often as possible.

I would advise you to retell stories in English. Let them be adapted but nevertheless retell them. You will have to express different ideas, different thoughts, describe different situations and use English words among which there will be quite a number of new ones.
