How do I say it sounds like/ looks like/ smells like ______ in Japanese? In that photo you look like a monkey. When she eats she sounds like a pig. Her hair smells like flowers. What did she use because it smell good? How are those sentence said in formal and casual Japanese? smells, sounds, looks

In that case the word "like〜" means 〜のように、〜のような、〜みたいな(or に) "smells"=におう(臭う negative)(匂う positive) (ex.) Her hair smells like flowers.=彼女の髪は花のように匂う。(If you say 「彼女の髪は花のような香りがする。」, it sounds more formal.) sounds=きこえる(聞こえる) (ex.) He sounds like a native speaker. =彼はネイティブスピーカー(=母語話者)のように聞こえる。 looks=みえる(見える) (ex.) It looks like rain. =雨が降ってるように見える。(literally) (「雨が降ってるみたい。」or「雨が降ってるようだ。」would be more used.) You are observant.
