I use the word as a noun, a verb, and adjective, and an adverb. I have also been known to use it as a preposition and an article as well. Occasionally, I can compose entire essays using that one word! I'll show you how I do it! Nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless, nevertheless nevertheless, nevertheless nevertheless, nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless. Nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless. Nevertheless, nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless nevertheless!

Depends on what conversation it is but here's an example, "I wanted you to stay this summer nevertheless, I suppose you can go for two weeks and come back on Monday" It's like 'however' or 'even with that said'. Please someone else answer if I'm wrong or have made an error =]

To use “nevertheless” correctly, you should be able to replace it with “in spite of that” or “despite that” in the sentence. I hate Christmas but I attended the family Christmas party nevertheless. (I hate Christmas but I attended the family Christmas party in spite of that.) I’m having a hard time with my homework. Nevertheless, I’ll turn it in on time. (I’m having a hard time with my homework. In spite of that, I’ll turn it in on time.) I’m very shy, but I will go to the party nevertheless. (I’m very shy, but I will go to the party despite my shyness.) So you would want to use “nevertheless” to convey that even though X is true, Y will happen, where X and Y usually don’t go together.

Chop it down: "never-the-less (in significance to what I just said)".
