rewrite the sentence "The science of horticulture, in which the primary concerns are maximum yield and superior quality, utilizes information derived from other sciences" Does it sound natural, the structure is a bit confusing to me, does "in which the primary concerns" mean "it's concerns" = The science of horticulture's concerns. And the "utilizes information derived from other sciences" equal to "maximum yield and superior quality", it is a primary concern, too or an action?

The 2nd sentence too makes sense. Tough the essence of the sentence changes. The 1st sentence talks about the science of horticulture whose primary aim/concern is maximum yield and superiority. while the 2nd sentence talks about the situation where the primary aim/concern of horticulture is utilizing info derived from other sciences. Also after reading the 1st sentence we realize that there may be other source of information to obtain maximum yield. while the 2nd sentence gives us the impression that horticulture science's concern is utilizing info from other science to achieve the goal. It makes a huge difference.
