my most favourite series is Odissea by RAI tv (8 hrs long); the last time the site asked me to subscribe, which is not the matter : the matter for you is whether you are allowed to watch it from outside Italy: some are available, some are not. However, there is no subtitles: In case you need subtitles, the answer you'll most probably get here is "Netflix" -- but you might also search through Bing.com > Video, asking "Italian + film/ series + subtitles", there is always something. Why don't you also use translated lyrics?
