Is there a technical word for this structure? https://www.google.com/search?q=emory+university&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiq0uOG89LeAhXvFjQIHWSFB1gQ_AUIDygC&biw=1920&bih=938#imgrc=fBf4dbZ6LX4eZM: I wonder if there is a proper word referring to a narrow wall with an institute's name engraved on it, at the entrance of a company or schools. Thanks a lot.https://www.emory.edu/home/about/visiting/campus_tours.html the picture above the blue heading "Druid Hills" after scrolling down a bit. Sorry for the the previous link.

The structure can be described as a low, curved wall with the university's name engraved into it. But there is no single noun to capture all of that.

I would say "Trademark" or "Copyright" or "Ownership" There really isn't a name to refer to such a thing, other than a "Placard" or "Monument" or maybe "Obelisk?" But in regards to your question, you can look at it as a type of "Trademark" or "Brand Name"

That worked. Thanks. I'm not aware of a name for it.

That search didn't work for me. It's rather difficult to copy a long link anyway. Can you post a link to the image, rather than a search?
