back porch Hello! I've finished reading Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King. I have highlighted 500 hundred words. Some words are not clear to me at all. Like for example “graymeat ”. What does this word mean? "All I know for sure is that Andy Dufresne wasn’t much like me or anyone else I ever knew since I came inside. He brought in five hundred dollars jammed up his back porch, but somehow that graymeat son of a bitch managed to bring in something else as well." Thank you!

Sasha, for the sake of modesty, you need to use your imagination. He brought in $500 into the prison. It was jammed up somewhere = it was stored somewhere, as in jammed/forced into a small space Back porch . Well it's not a veranda in this case. It's part of his body, at it's at the back, and...and discrete. дно? ягодица. I loved the movie. It is shown too much on TV though.
