But they’re opened in the second picture. Shall I use ‘open’ instead of ‘opened’? I’m describing the differences between two pictures. Thanks

Either is OK. "they are open" = they can be seen to be closed in the first picture and open in the second picture that is the difference. "They are opened" = in the first picture they are closed in the second picture they are open or opened. it is just two different ways of saying the same thing. One is describing the difference between the two pictures.[ That can be seen] The other is describing the difference from a "then and now perspective", they were closed, but now they are open [present] or opened [since the first picture was taken]
