I studied this play, but long ago. I can't see either "gentleman of the road" or "noble robber" in the play text, although there is reference to "the old duke" living "like Robin Hood" in the early scenes, and later to Duke Senior and company as entering "like outlaws" in Act 2 Scene 7, stage directions. No doubt you know that "gentleman of the road", in its older usage, has the meaning of highwayman or armed robber, and evidently Duke Senior and Orlando would both be considered "noble". But I am not sure I understand the drift of your question. Yeah that's true I have read the play and it is such a beautiful play. Actually, i love reading especially William shakespeare writings. But you did not tell me about the second question 😹😹
