Use of different particles in Japanese I've been in a Japanese class for two years now and I'm still struggling with the different uses of the particles. It is getting to the point where not only friends, and myself are getting frusturated, but now my teachers begun voicing her concern as well. I'm hoping to use the summer break to get a better grasp on them. The particles I'm having the most difficult time with are "ni", "de", and "ga". Basically I'd like to know when it is appropriate to use them and how the grammar is set up so I can gain a better understanding of where I'm going wrong.

You won't find your answers here. Instead, you need to do some serious reading. I recommend "Making Sense of Japanese" by Jay Rubin. It was written with people like you in mind.
