Most likely the song is referring to "spooning." Two people sleeping in the same bed will both sleep facing in the same direction, usually on their side. They will sleep next to each other with their bodies adjusting to the contours of each other's body. Like spoons in a drawer.

I just checked the lyrics, funny how she sings that in the singular sense, as spooning requires two (or more???) participants. And guess what was being advertised on the lyrics page....!!
