What's the difference between the meaning of these words
kimochi (きもち) and kanji (かんじ) as a word for feeling
and
omoi (おもい) and kangae (かんがえ) as a word for thought/idea
what's the difference?

おもい【思い】
1 〔思うこと,考え〕
思いにふける|be lost in thought
戦争犠牲者に思いを致す|We [think of / remember] those who died in (the) war.
2 〔心配〕
思いに沈む|have something on one's mind
故人は幼い子たちに思いを残しながら逝った|The man died worrying about the little children he had to leave behind.
3 〔感じ,経験,気持ち〕feeling
家中が悲しい思いに沈んでいる|All the family are dejected [in deep sorrow].
自分だけ楽しい思いをしてずるいぞ|It's not fair─you're having all the fun!
言うことを聞かないと痛い思いをさせてやるぞ|If you don't do what I tell you, you'll be sorry.
4 〔願望,望み〕a wish, a desire ⦅for, to do⦆
10年来の思いがかなって,家を手に入れた|Our dreams of the past ten years have been fulfilled, and now we have a home of our own.

かんじ【感じ】
1 〔感覚〕(a) sensation; 〔触感〕touch, feel
彼女の手は冷たい大理石のような感じがした|Her hand felt as cold as marble.
この葉は触るとすべすべした感じだ|This leaf feels smooth. / This leaf is smooth to the touch.
2 〔心持ち〕(a) feeling
この絵には作者の自然に対する深い感じがあふれている|This painting is overflowing with the painter's deep feeling for nature.
なんだか寂しい感じがする|Somehow I feel lonesome.
孤島に一人取り残されたような感じだ|I feel as if I had been left alone on a remote island.
3 〔印象〕an impression

きもち【気持ち】
