The most general usage is indicating the departure order for traffic such as train,bus . 先発（senpatsu) is the earliest one , 次発（jihatsu) is the next , and 次次発ｏｒ次々発（jijihatsu) is available it means following the next.　

先発 = next broadcast (the broadcast coming up) 次発 = the broadcast after the next
