It is true that deep or low pitched voices are generally considered more attractive, and people with such voices tend to be seen as more capable and authoritative. This is mostly true of male voices, but also true of female voices to a lesser extent. However, this is a generalisation. David Beckham, for example, has a high voice for a man and has never been held back from success by it.
By the way, the English term for whether a voice is high or low is 'pitch', not 'intonation'.
