Hello Could you please look at two pictures? There are some expressions that I want to know. The first thing is ”fell off”. I guess, from the context it means to be hooked up or really into something. Am I right? The second is that I have a lot of catching up to do. I think that means he has a lot of episodes to see. Am I right? The last is that ”I'm 5 years behind here” Does it mean that he didn't watch those episodes that were made 5 years ago? Could you please help me? Thank you for your time and help.

To be "on the bandwagon" is an idiomatic expression meaning you are part of a large number of people who do an activity or support a certain cause. So to "fall off the bandwagon" means to stop being part of that group. So in this case, the person stopped watching Game of Thrones.

Fell off the bandwagon is an analogy: the series are a train and you fell off the wagon. The second part means that 5 years behind of not watching it. Best,

Hey Mari! Yes! You’re right on the money with your guesses :) So for the first one yes, the person was really into something but no longer keeps up with it. So if a person “fell off the bandwagon” for a specific show or fandom, that means they used to be big fans of the show who would closely follow what was happening, but decided to stop or just no longer kept up with that show or fandom. For the second you guessed perfectly.
