It's a good question. I want to learn English because a lot of content that I see is in English, I can understand a lot of things but it isn't sufficient. Also, speaking English is very important for our professional life , for example, I'm currently living in Colombia and here being bilingual os very important because you have more chances to be selected for a job and anything at all. (if I have mistakes tell me please, I want to improve my current level of English)
