How do we make the negative form of "must"? How do we form the negative form of " need " ? You read this chapter. Today, start the next chapter. You read this chapter yesterday. Today, you need to start reading from Chapter 4. Read starting from chapter 4. Do they all make sense or do they sound weird? Thanks

How do we make the negative form of "must"? [that doesn't sound right] Try: "How do we put 'need' into a negative form?" or "What is the negative form of 'need'?" You read this chapter. Today, start the next chapter. You read this chapter yesterday. Today, you need to start reading from Chapter 4. Read starting from chapter 4. Do they all make sense or do they sound weird? Thanks
They are fine. One thing: since "read" looks the same in the present and past tense, usually we add a hint for the past tense so that it's clear. So instead of just "You read that book", it would often be written, "You [have] already read that book." I assume the questions about negative forms of "must" and "need" was just about the form of the question rather than actual questions. Yes?
