Yes there is a difference. Not enormous but definitely significant. 'For my taste' usually comes after an adjective describing how something comes across to you. For example; 'Going on rollercoasters is too adventurous for my taste. I would rather stay home and watch TV.' 'Tomato soup is perfect for my taste. I can't handle peppery foods.' 'To my taste' on the other hand usually comes after a verb in the past tense to state that something is designed to please you. For example; 'At Unique Attire, our suits are tailored to your taste.' 'This quesadilla is suited to my taste.' It could also be used in a sentence without a verb in the past tense. 'This quesadilla is very much to my taste.' I hope this helps.

Hi David, grammatically they both are different and used in different context. "For my taste" is usually used with conjunction with some other phrases to indicate why you don’t like something, e.g.: The music is too loud for my taste. The food is too spicy for my taste. Meanwhile "to my taste" is often used for describing something that you don't like based on your personal taste and you acknowledge it that it's just a matter of taste. e.g.: This salad is not to my taste. This movie is not to my taste. Hope this helps!

Esta es una buena pregunta. La diferencia es en qué situaciones los usas o en qué formatos gramaticales suenan correctamente. Por ejemplo: "This food is too spicy for my taste." "The movie I watched yesterday was not to my taste."
