It is my essay: "The tables illustrate the consumption and production of potatoes in five different continents (South and Central America, Africa, North America, Europe, and Asia) in 2006. Overall, Europe was the largest consumer, while Asia was the major potato producer. Looking at the figures in more detail, regarding the consumption of potatoes, the average European person consumed just over 96 kg. The second highest figure was recorded in North America, with nearly 60 kg eaten per person, which was four times higher than that for Africa. Next (after Africa? This is confusing) came South and Central America and Asia ,these areas had similar levels of consumption, accounting for 23,6 (DO NOT USE COMMAS AS DECIMAL POINTS) and 25,8 kg per person, respectively. Turning to the regional production, the growth of potatoes was highest in Asia, at 131,2 million tonnes, followed by Europe, at 126,3 million. The figure for North America ranked third, at nearly 25 million. Finally, two minor potato producers were Africa and South and Central America, comprising 15,6 and 16,4 million tonnes ,respectively."
