As a languge learner myself I know how challenging it can be learning a new language. I have Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (Austrian language diploma), so we can communicate in either German or English. Because I've had great experiences as a language exchange partner, I've started to love teaching my native language. I have four years of experience in tutoring Hungarian to foreign language learners on Italki. Talking is the best way to learn a language! I offer conversational lessons where you have the opportunity to use Hungarian in a relaxing and supportive environment. I'm a patient and friendly person.

I am a professional teacher of English and Hungarian language and culture, I have a masters degree. I have 11 years teaching experience. I am a freelancer, a self employed teacher. I teach mainly adults one to one or in small groups (maximum six members). I teach both English and Hungarian A0-C1 levels, and prepare students for the Hungarian citizenship exam.

Teaching with profession and passion ;-) It is very important to me that everyone enjoys my lessons. I believe it is very important to be relaxed and have fun while learning, so I make it a point to provide an environment that is free from stress and enjoyable. I really think, enjoying learning is already halfway to success. :-) I have already learned some languages as well and I am still learning more, so I really understand the difficulties of learning a new language, but I also have experience in how to overcome those as well. I am currently learning Chinese and I enjoy it very much.

I have several methods of learning languages which makes it easy and fun because that is the goal at the end of the day: learning by having fun. During my classes we will focus on speaking and conversation mostly but I always try making my classes customised to the student's needs. We'll be learning new words, we can revise grammar tenses or even talk about the quirks and interesting facts about the Hungarian culture.

Linguistics PhD with a passion for languages. I am casual but direct. I am organized, I like to do things in some kind of order to help us keep track of progress. I am also detail oriented, I believe that one of the keys to learning a language is understanding the rules, so I will explain the reasons behind everything; it's hard to just memorize stuff. That being said, everyone has their own style and pace, and I actually enjoy being helpful in a way that suits a student's specific needs. So, if you are not a beginner or have any particular language goals, just say so I am more than happy to adapt.
