I like to put at the service of my students my language skills to help them in learning Italian and in achieving their goals. I am patient and I have listening skills, a characteristic that allows me to meet the needs of all and to study learning programs adapted to the objectives of each person. Mi piace mettere al servizio dei miei studenti le mie competenze linguistiche per aiutarli nell'apprendimento dell'italiano e nel raggiungimento dei loro obiettivi. Sono paziente e ho capacità di ascolto, caratteristica che mi permette di venire incontro alle esigenze di tutti e di studiare programmi di apprendimento adatti agli obiettivi di ognuno.

Parlo fluentemente giapponese e inglese, quindi so bene cosa significa imparare una lingua straniera, con tutte le difficoltà ma anche le soddisfazioni che comporta. Per questo, nelle mie lezioni cerco sempre di creare un ambiente rilassato e motivante, adatto sia a chi parte da zero sia a chi vuole perfezionare il proprio italiano. Oggi insegno giapponese da zero presso un liceo italiano e ho iniziato a insegnare l'italiano cinque anni fa, durante il lock-down. Le mie lezioni sono leggere e vivaci, scorrevoli e informali se lo preferisci! Ti aiuterò a pensare in italiano durante la vita di tutti i giorni.

Mi è sempre piaciuto trasmettere le conoscenze linguistiche in modo comprensibile, arricchendole con esempi e connessioni o con brevi incursioni anche su altri argomenti purché siano funzionali alla nozione. Lascio parlare l'interlocutore cercando di non interromperlo e aiutandolo solo quando necessario, raccogliendo annotazioni sulle eventuali correzioni da comunicare con calma alla fine della conversazione o della frase.

My studies also led me to learn about the adults' world and their ways of internalizing new information when it comes to foreign languages.During my University study case, I had the chance to design an English course for absolute-beginner seniors, which was revealed to be the litmus test of the approach effectiveness I'd been working on up to then. I prefer to be seen as a facilitator of learning rather than a teacher,for my aim is to support others in their journey of language exploration by providing tools and offering expertise to raise consciousness of the new language system.

Since my first year at University, I've tutored students in Italian, English and Spanish. I have been working on Italki since 2020 and I had the chance to meet many students and to enrich my didactic methods. Dal primo anno di Università ho aiutato altri studenti a prepararsi in italiano, inglese e spagnolo. Lavoro su Italki dal 2020 e ho avuto l'opportunità di incontrare molti studenti e di arricchiere i miei metodi didattici.

Mi propongo come community tutor. Sono una persona solare, paziente e comprensiva, con un’ottima conoscenza della lingua italiana. I had students from all over the world, and I have experience in teaching Italian, Spanish, English and Serbian to students of all ages and levels. I always try to make student feel comfortable, so I always listen their requirements and preferences. I have so much material that we can use for learning, so it's always student's choice. With some students I worked for several years and saw their progress from comletely beginner to being able to speak only in the target language.

Living in different countries, I face the everyday exciting challenge of speaking different idioms I use to be a teacher in photography, a teaching experience that helped me developing a personal attitude in let students, and people at large, feeling comfortable at talking with me. This is my main skill in teaching, approaching any lesson, at any level, more like a friendly conversation than an examination! We’ll work together, according to any students goals, without any stress or pressure.

In addition, tools such as songs, texts, articles, movies, TV series are very effective for beginning to approach a new language.
