I passed the Cambridge C1 exam and have translated a Finnish language textbook for beginners (from Finnish into Russian). I am also a certified TEFL/TESOL teacher. My language skills are the result of many years of dedicated work without ever living abroad — which is completely possible and something anyone can achieve. I’m also the creator of the Finnish Daily Dialogues podcast, co-hosted with Ida, where we share practical, everyday Finnish — especially spoken language. I'm a language mentor. I endeavour to support my pupils' foreign language acquisition. Do you want to practice your passive language skills? Or are you a beginner looking for guidance? As someone who has tutored pupils from all walks of life, from absolute beginners to advanced learners, I may be of help at any stage. My manner of proceeding during the lesson is to construct an image about my pupil's situation and provide advice. Although I'm quite familiar with grammar and other theory, I try to teach everything through context to make it meaningful.
