I was fortunate to recognize teaching as my vocation when I was in college, and l had excellent training in language pedagogy when I was accepted as a teaching assistant at Ohio State's graduate program. I am at my happiest and most fulfilled when I am teaching a language class, whether face to face or online (a modality in which I became proficient during the Covid epidemic).
