What motivates you to apply for this volunteer job and how do you believe it aligns with your personal or professional goals? I'm motivated by deadlines and pressure. as an English learner, I understand that the pressure from living in a different country and learning a different language. I worked for a British school as a teaching assistant and gained the CELT-P (Certificate in English Language Teaching – Primary), so if I can help beginners to learn English, it makes me feel valued. I'm motivated by continuous learning and improving. I'm always open to learn new things and developing myself professionally. I enjoy interacting with Learners from different countries. I'm motivated by goals and achievements. if I have something to work towards and help beginners with English, it makes me feel good about myself and it gives me a high level of satisfaction. when I traveled in the United States and Europe, I also got a lot of help from local people. so I also want to share my knowledge and help beginners to learn English.

I’m gonna share a very popular term in our country called“三观”, the term looks short but actually is a little bit complicated because its maker put three concepts in the term. Anyway, let me break it down below. During childhood, we probably have formed 3 mindsets or something beliefs(actually I am not sure the correct words to phrase that), I will line them up in the form of questions. 1. How you view the world and what are your opinions of things happening on other people? 2. What are the principles you value in social life? How much you can stick to? 3. What do you think your life is supposed to be and how you should live it? Since then, you have been bearing these three questions for a while until some certain age where you eventually become “adults”, where the answers to the questions no longer change significantly. The reason why people here mention “三观” more often is, apart from judging something popcorn silently among news pages or social media, we are also likely to make friends depending on it. Imagine you get to know someone, afterwards find out you two share so much same or similar perspectives upon things, as well as you are more and more aware of that as time passes by. How could it be if you don’t like each other? That is all I can think of right now. If you have any questions or ideas, please let me know.

1.If you live in Canada, what do you like about the changing seasons? What do you like about the changing season in your home country? I like summer in Canada arrives quietly. the sun stretches longer. 2.Some people like change. Other people like routine and for things to say the same. Do you like change, or do you like things to stay the same? I don't like change. I hate change. I'm allergic to change. I resist change. I just love change. I do in fact love change. I just don't like transition. I Like To Lose Myself 10 or 15 lb. it's the transition I'm not that fond of. I realize there's going to be change in the industry, in my business. but between me and the change is what transition. and that's what gets me bogged down. we should embrace transition. 3.What have you changed in your room, apartment, or house? peel and stick tile had the hugest impact in my apartment. because it took my really dark boring kitchen and added in some personality and flare as well as a much-needed pop of color. I placed those tiles with a vertical pattern, which is not only super trendy right now, made the kitchen feel taller, a little bit more open, and kind of like less enclosed. in the hallway I added a light colored Runner, now this is instantly brightened up the hallway. 4. Have you changed the way you look? How? I changed my look and found my style when I was young. for example, I wore Contact lenses instead of glasses and made up. indeed I was more confident and got more job opportunities. I also made some fashion mistakes. but several years later, my eyes became very dry, I couldn't wear Contact Lenses anymore. 5.Have you changed the way you dress? How? I dressed up with outfits and accessories which were adorable but not functional when I was young.

On Saturday, I joined a small local festival at a welfare facility with my Yosakoi circle. The place was not very big, but it was filled with warm smiles and excitement. We performed our Yosakoi dance in front of the audience, and I felt both nervous and happy at the same time. When we danced together as a team, I could really feel the energy and the strong bond between us. Some of the people in the audience clapped to the rhythm, and that made me even more motivated to dance my best. After the performance, I walked around the festival with my teammates. There were some food stands and fun activities prepared by the staff. I bought a hot taiyaki, and it was so delicious! It was crispy on the outside, and the sweet filling was really warm inside. I almost burned my tongue, but it made me smile because it tasted like happiness. Later, I joined a booth where we could make our own badges. I decided to make a matching badge with my teammates. We drew the same picture and turned it into a cute badge. It felt special to have something that connected us even off the stage. The festival was small, but I had a wonderful time.
