I'm preparing for the answer of IELTS writing test. Could you revise the following my answers? 【Education Question)】 More and more students choose to study at colleges and universities in a foreign country. Do the benefits of studying abroad outweigh the drawbacks? [Merits] ・cutting-edge& high-academic Studying abroad enables students to attend classes that are cutting-edge and have high academic standards. Through these classes, the students can enhance their expertise and their competitiveness in the international market. These contribute to future increases in their opportunities for employment and in the amount of income. ・Broaden one's perspective and values Undertaking studies in a different country broads students’ perspectives and values. During pursuing studies overseas, students can gain new perspectives distinct from their own, through interacting with international students and experiencing different cultures and customs. For both the students themselves and the host country, studying abroad serves as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding of different cultures. [Demerits] ・Cost Studying abroad poses a significant financial burden for international students. In particular, university tuition fees for international students can be substantially higher, and in some cases, exceeding twice the amount paid by local students. ・Visa and legal issues For international students, issues such as visas and legal procedures may arise while studying abroad. International students need to go through various procedures to obtain a residence permit in a foreign country, and there is a risk that the residence permit may be suddenly refused if bilateral relations deteriorate. These factors can not only become a mental burden for international students but also have adverse effects on their academic performance.
