In Britain, many university students live away from home. This gives them more freedom and the opportunity co meet lots of new people, but can also be difficult for some students who arc not used to being on their own and have never learnt co cook for themselves or even iron their clothes. In their first year, most students choose co live in student accommodation, which is sometimes on campus. After that, they tend to rent a flat or house with other students.
Part of student life is about understanding the importance of managing your money carefully: tuition fees, loans you may have taken out, money for food, and payments you have co make for your living costs, for electricity, etc. For this reason, many students find part-time jobs.
At university, you can often choose when you want to study, but you need co attend lectures, do your assignments on time, and plan your revision period before exams.

今日の天気は曇り。
気温は20℃です。
昨日と同じで、少し肌寒いですね。

今みなさんの住んでいるところは何時ですか？
その時間のあいさつはどうしますか？


今日は、あいさつについて、話します。
日本では、朝と昼と夜とあいさつのしかたが変わりますね。

あいさつの言葉、知っていますか？
朝は、おはようございます。
昼は、こんにちは。
夜は、こんばんは。

ですね。

なぜ、この言葉なんでしょうか。
その話をします。
 朝のあいさつ、“おはようございます”の由来は、歌舞伎(かぶき)だそうです。(歌舞伎は、日本の昔の演劇で、伝統芸能の１つです。)

歌舞伎の役者の準備には時間がかかります。
ですので、準備している人たちは、“お早いお着きでございます”と言っていました。
このお早いおつきでございます、が省略しょうりゃく、短くなって、
おはようございます、となりました。


こんにちは。

きょうは、と漢字を書いて、こんにちは、と読みます。
もともと、“今日(こんにち)は、ご機嫌いかがですか”“今日(こんにち)は、いいお天気ですね”といった言葉があいさつとして使われていました。
 明治時代、約150年前ごろに“今日は”以降がはぶかれました。そして、“こんにちは”となり、広がったようです。 

「こんばんは」　 “こんばんは”も“こんにちは”とにています。

漢字で、今日の晩(夜)と書きます。
そしてこんばんは、と読みます。


そして日本の特徴だと、お辞儀をしますね、頭を下げます。
頭を下げることで相手への礼儀(れいぎ)をあらわします。
