こんにちは。今日は7月4日木曜日です。「5分でわかる日本語」ポッドキャストへようこそ。私は日本語の先生、みわです。今日は、日本の梅雨（つゆ）についてお話しします。

日本には梅雨というものがあるのを知っていますか？梅雨は雨の多い季節です。東京では、5月末から7月初めくらいまでが梅雨の時期です。この時期は、ほぼ毎日雨が降ります。

梅雨は日本のいろいろな地域にもあります。例えば、大阪、福岡、沖縄などです。大阪の梅雨も、東京と同じように5月末から7月初めくらいまでです。福岡の梅雨も同じくらいの時期ですが、少しだけ長いかもしれません。沖縄の梅雨は少し早くて、5月の初めから6月の中頃までです。

でも、私の住んでいる北海道には梅雨がありません。今、とてもいい季節です！涼しくて、天気も良いです。

でも、最近は地球温暖化の影響で、北海道でも梅雨のような天気が続くことがあります。地球温暖化（ちきゅうおんだんか）とは、地球の気温が高くなることです。そのため、気候が変わってきています。昔は、北海道に梅雨はありませんでしたが、今は少しずつ変わってきています。

梅雨は、雨が多いので、少し大変かもしれません。でも、梅雨が終わると、暑い夏が始まります。夏にはたくさんの楽しいことがあります。例えば、花火大会や夏祭りです。たくさん遊んで、友達や家族と楽しい時間を過ごしたりします。

梅雨の時期には、雨が続くので湿度も高くなります。湿度とは、空気中にある水の量のことです。湿度が高いと、部屋の中が暑く感じることがあります。また、梅雨の時期には洗濯した物が乾きにくくなります。

でも、梅雨の雨は、畑にとっても大切です。畑に水を与えます。野菜やお米のために、とても大切です。

ここで、皆さんに問題です。梅雨はどんな季節ですか？
	1.	雨がたくさん降る季節
	2.	雨が少なくなる季節
	3.	雨が止む季節
正解は「1. 雨がたくさん降る季節」です。

오늘 저녁은 "떡볶이"가 어때요?

我爱月夜，但我也爱星天。从前在家乡七、八月的夜晚在庭院里纳凉的时候，我最爱看天上密密麻麻的繁星。望着星天，我就会忘记一切，仿佛回到了母亲的怀里似的。 

三年前在南京我住的地方有一道后门，每晚我打开后门，便看见一个静寂的夜。下面是一片菜园，上面是星群密布的蓝天。星光在我们的肉眼里虽然微小，然而它使我们觉得光明无处不在。那时候我正在读一些关于天文学的书，也认得一些星星，好像它们就是我的朋友，它们常常在和我谈话一样。 

如今在海上，每晚和繁星相对，我把它们认得很熟了。我躺在舱面上，仰望天空。深蓝色的天空里悬着无数半明半昧的星。船在动，星也在动，它们是这样低，真是摇摇欲坠呢！ 

渐渐地我的眼睛模糊了，我好像看见无数萤火虫在我的周围飞舞。海上的夜是柔和的，是静寂的，是梦幻的。我望着那许多认识的星，我仿佛看见它们在对我霎眼，我仿佛听见它们在小声说话。这时我忘记了一切。在星的怀抱中我微笑着，我沉睡着。我觉得自己是一个小孩子，现在睡在母亲的怀里了。 

有一夜，那个在哥伦波上船的英国人指给我看天上的巨人。他用手指着：那四颗明亮的星是头，下面的几颗是身子，这几颗是手，那几颗是腿和脚，还有三颗星算是腰带。经他这一番指点，我果然看清楚了那个天上的巨人。看，那个巨人还在跑呢！

More than half of Japanese children spend at least one hour every day playing video games.

That's according to a 2022 survey by Japanese internet company Nifty Corporation.

Twenty-four percent of kids said they play for between one and two hours a day. Thirteen percent said they play for between two and three hours, and 17% reported playing three hours or more.

Only 9% said they do not play at all.

More than 2,300 elementary and junior high school children took part in the survey, which was done in September and October of 2022.

Almost 80% said they usually play video games alone. When they do play with others, they more often play with people online than with someone else in the room.

Parents in Japan have spoken of their concerns about the amount of time their children spend playing video games. In 2020, Kagawa prefecture said people under 20 should limit their time spent playing video games to one hour per day during the week and 90 minutes on weekends.

The Nifty survey also asked children about rules in their homes for playing video games.

Fifty-three percent said they have time limits for playing, with 44% saying they can only play after they have finished their other tasks.

One in five of the children surveyed said they are not allowed to play with strangers online, and more than half are not allowed to spend money when playing online games.
