Всем добрый вечер. Вас приветствует Лена. Сегодня я решила записать короткий подкаст о моём четверге. Сегодня четверг, 8 августа. Как быстро летит время! Вам не кажется? Сегодня у меня был не такой трудный день, как обычно. Сегодня я работала не так много. У меня было больше времени на себя и на другие дела.

Я немножко убрала дом, помыла посуду, приготовила обед и ужин. Ещё я немножко посмотрела телевизор, сходила в киоск, купила продукты, провела несколько уроков. В общем, на этом всё.

Сегодня очень спокойный день. Сегодня было солнечно, не было дождика. Мне кажется, что я начинаю скучать по дождю, потому что мне очень нравится, когда идёт дождь. И мне очень нравится, когда на улице не очень жарко. Я люблю прохладную погоду, но мне не нравится ветер.

А какая погода больше всего нравится вам? И какое время года вы предпочитаете? Например, я люблю весну. Когда я жила в России, мне всегда нравились месяцы апрель и май, потому что заканчивалась школа, начинались летние каникулы. Я всегда ждала летних каникул с нетерпением, потому что летние каникулы, они самые длинные, и я проводила время у бабушки на даче. Поэтому в России, наверное, моё любимое время года — весна.

Сейчас я живу в Эквадоре. Здесь нет времён года, но кажется, что здесь, по крайней мере в Кито, вечная весна. Климат очень похож на тот, который бывает весной: прохладненько, свежо, иногда идёт дождик. Но это только если мы берём во внимание город Кито, потому что в разных частях Эквадора абсолютно разная погода. Если вы живёте на побережье, там постоянно жарко, насколько я знаю. Если вы живёте, например, как я, в столице — тут прохладненько. Вот поэтому всё зависит от погоды. А ещё в горах здесь очень даже холодно.

Сейчас уже вечер, как я сказала, поэтому, наверное, я буду пить чай, может быть, сделаю зарядку, посмотрю какой-нибудь фильм. И уже к вечеру, может быть, в 22:00, я буду готовиться ко сну, а в 22:30 лягу спать.

A record 78% of Japanese people feel anxious or worried, according to a new government survey.

That's the highest proportion in the 43 years the government has been asking people about these feelings.

Common worries among the adults who took part included health, life after retirement, and future income. Almost 64% of people said they're worried about their health, while 63% said they're worried about what their lives will look like after they stop working.

This was quite a small survey, however, and it was done by mail, with only 1,830 people across the country taking part.

Previous surveys have been done in person, and the government said people should be cautious before making comparisons between this year's survey and those done in the past.

But the survey did find that people in Japan are a little happier with their finances this year than they were in 2023.

However, 66% of people said they think the government should do more to combat inflation.

It's not just in Japan that people are anxious. Other reports have found that this is a real problem around the world.

At the end of 2023, almost half of young workers from seven countries said they found it difficult to work because they were so worried about what they saw in the news. Many felt they were living in a time of uncertainty, with wars happening across the world and geopolitical tensions rising.
