I, You, He, She: Pronouns and Respect — Nee, Ningal, Thaangal | Spoken Malayalam #018
คำอธิบาย
English has one "you" for everyone: your child, your best friend, your grandmother, a stranger. Malayalam has several, and choosing the wrong one can sound rude or oddly cold. It also has two words for "we", and different words for "he" and "she" depending on respect.
In this episode:
• I and the two kinds of we
• The three yous
• My, your, our
• He, she and the respectful they
• Near, far and where: the i, a, e pattern
• Listening scene
• Language bridge
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
