It is a day of the Hinamatsuri 🎎 on March 3rd every year in Japan. “Hina” means dolls of the Japanese style and “matsuri “means a festival. We Japanese celebrate this important day for children, especially girls, because the Hinamatsuri is a festival for girls. In the past, children died young, so many parents wished their children grew up healthy and made their Hina. Then, they celebrated that children were healthy and alive this year. The festival for boys takes place in May. Now we have a lot of food and can get a good treatment at the hospital. The death rate of children has also decreased. I’m so happy that I can live in the present day.
