"Ayubowan" is a traditional Sri Lankan greeting that means "hello" and wishes someone a long life. People say it with a slight bow and their palms together in front of their chest, similar to the Indian "Namaste." It's a way to show respect and kindness.
"ආයුබෝවන්" යනු ශ්රී ලාංකීය සම්ප්රදායික සුබපැතුමකි, එහි තේරුම, දීර්ඝායුෂ ප්රාර්ථනා කිරීමයි. එය ඉන්දියානු "නමස්තේ" මෙන් ටිකක් ඉදිරියට නැමී සහ තම අත්ල තම පපුව ඉදිරිපිට එකට තබා කියති. එය අනෙකාට ගෞරවය සහ කරුණාව පෙන්වන එක් අකාරයකි.
